I am not please with the gaps around the hradlight cover on my 2002 coupe and was wondering if there is a way to align it. The gap on the hodd (inside) is far larger than the outside gap. The car was not in an accident....
I have removed the cover at the (4) torx screws and there is a bit of ajustabilty up and down to make the cover fit flush... it does... just poor gaps around the seems!
The plastic structure underneath the metal headlight cover is adjustable front/back and left/right. You loosen the Torx screws and then just move it around. On this plastic piece are the height adjustment screws that you're talking about.
nuke 61 is right. And it is a real time consuming ordeal to get them right. Once you do, mark each location with a dab of paint for when you have to remove the covers.
