Default Power Seat Staying On

I had my car in the driveway for a couple days, I go to start it last night and my battery was dead. I jump it with my truck and find out that the motor for the power seat was constantly running. I got in and attempt to adjust the lumbar/side bolsters and the motor turns off when I hit the switch, but nothing happens with the seat. After I let go of the switch the motor starts back up again. (Also the check engine light was on, but I didn't see any error code in the DIC) I drive it around for a while to charge the battery, get home, disconnect the battery and go to bed. I wake up in the morning and start the car to drive into work, the power seat motor isn't running constantly running now, but the seat doesn't work. I hope to get the error history pulled tomorrow morning for that code. Any ideas or suggestions on what to check? I hope my seat motor didn't short out and die. My extended warrenty quit last month. Thanks for the input.

When I first got my car the pass. seat didn't work, found out the switch wasn't connected. Hooked it up and seat motor was pushing it forward all the time, disconnected it, took it out and found it was partially melted - too dangerous. New switch = $85 - Fred Beans. Everything O.K. after that, two years ago.
