Based on the Service Manual for a 2001 ....

* Fuel level should be 1/2 full or less

* Jounce car to settle the suspension

* Cover/block headlamps to make aiming easier

* Place a screen 25 feet in front of the vehicle with a line drawn horizontally at the height of the center of the foglamps (You'll have to measure this ... the manual doesn't list the height)

* Turn on the Fog lamps (duh!!!)

* Insert a TORX driver through the front fascia deflector access hole to reach the fog lamp vertical (there is no horizontal) adjustment screw.

* Adjust lamp so that the top of the high intensity zone is 4 inches below the line on the screen.

* Turn OFF fog lamps (double duh!)

I don't believe their is a Haynes or Chilton manual for the C5 Corvette - you need to get the 3 volume Helms manuals if you want to do your own service work

You wouldn't know what size TORX you need?

Sorry, no, manual doesn't usually list bolt/screw sizes. I was surprised it even pointed out that it is a TORX driver needed.

Should be a "standard" TORX size though, or the tool would be listed in the "Special Tools and Equipment" section, and it's not.

and NO, no one makes a "manual" for the C5. The only recourse is to buy the GM service manuals. The 3 volume set runs near $120. Ken Fitchner has had the best price going for the last 3 years.
