Help with window motor please...
I'm trying to help my brother 800 miles away with 2 stuck windows in his 2000 Coupe. It appears both motors are just stuck, relays click and regulator is likely not the problem but we'll know when he pulls the door panel tomorrow.
My question, can the motor be easily removed, armature cleaned and reinstalled?

Been there. Done that.
Remove door panel. Remove speaker. The motor case is held in by 4 torx screws, Remove them and you can take the motor case off . You might have to lossen the bolts that hold the motor on to the door. Now you can spin the armature with your hand. After you have spun it a few times put the motor case back on and it will probably work. Mine has been working for 6 months since I did this.
