Nitrous question.
Why is it that the F-bodies have either wet or dry kits specially made for their cars but the C5 only has the wet kit (although you can make a custom dry). What's the reasoning behind this? Thanks.

you can actually get a dry kit from TNT, i believe. both will work fine on a computer-controlled car (engine management sensors like O2 & knock make a dry system possible by enriching the fuel through fuel injectors). i prefer a wet system for 2 reasons: insurance that extra fuel is there no matter what, and that the limitations of a wet system surpass the dry system since you're tapping fuel beyond what the injectors can deliver. so with a wet system your limited by what the fuel pump can supprt HP-wise, with a dry you are limited by what the injectors can support HP-wise. ssome people also argue that shooting raw fuel into the air horn may affect some of the composite plastics and matrials it may come into contact with on its way to the combustion chambers. but no problem so far reported from anyone. i use a wet system and love it. i have 225hp jets i use in my NX system...it just friggen screams.
