TR6 is the perfect plug. This is one heat range colder than stock as well as being copper. Copper has less of a tendency to hot spot causing pre-ignition and then detonation. I would keep the gap around .040" and you should do great. Remember, always start with the 50HP pills and work your way up.
I'm talkin to john on the phone... he wants to know if you want to come out with us sat. night.. I think we are going to stay up in fred. or somewhere around MD.
thanks for the info about the plugs, i'm goin spray my C-5 at the shootout....
JOhn talked to LPE today, and taking the cats off gives 30 hp. JOhn wants to know if you have yours removed..?
thanks for the info, this is my first time sprayin a c-5, so I just wanted to get the experience of my piers. I traded in my 383 96', it was time for something new. I imagine that I will start out at the 100hp jets, since I will be running my bottle pressure at around 700 psi. I'll play with that and then jet it up to about 200. That should put me around 150hp. This way as I spray it, my bottle pressure wont drop, and I can run a consitant hp....
