Headlight won't close
The drivers side headlight on my 2000 hardtop will not close all the way when I shut off the lights. It cycles all the way down, but then runs back up about halfway and stops. I can manually crank it closed. This happens every time I shut the lights off. Anybody know how to fix this?

The linkage is skipping past the stops.Have the dealer perform TSB#00-08-42-002,which involves shimming the motor and replacing the 2 nylon linkage stops... :seeya
The part #'s are:11505463 washers (3), 16524060 insulators (2) required...

I had the exact same problem.
I just had it fixed at the dealer on Saturday.
It was determined that the light motor and springs were defective.
They swapped the parts and things are as good as before!
It only took them a day.
