How are the LSX cylinders numbered?

How are the LSX cylinders numbered?
Are the cylinders numbered with the odd numbers on the left bank and even on the right? IE: left bank front to back 1,3,5,7 and the right bank front to back 2,4,6,8 ? 
I have a misfire on cylinder #2 and want to make sure I am working with the correct cylinder.

Starting at the front most cylinder on the drivers side. That is cylinder number 1. That bank is numbered 1,3,5,7 heading towards the fire wall. The passsanger side front most cylinder is number 2. That back is numbered 2,4,6,8.

GM has changed a few things but this is one they haven't. Firing order is different from your standard chevy motors now! But the cylinders as stated above remain the same ODD on drivers side and EVEN on passenger side! Let us know how your fix goes perhaps we'll run into the same problem and already have the fix listed!
