Ultimate ram air system?

Has anyone bought the VaraRam air system that claims to add up to 35 bhp for $500? The ad was in the November Vette magazine.

Until I have seen a few real world test with this kit I'm not gonna be so quick to call it anything.

There's no doubt the claims that are made in their ad are on the high side. Personally, I hope it's the truth. It'd be nice to have a real ram air that doesn't steal air from the radiator and isn't succeptable to hydrolocking anymore than the oem airbox.

it's in the lastest Vette magazine and a few members have made thier own similiar system, "seanr" comes to mind :cheers:
