Had a line lock installed on a 97 at the fire wall under the hood. The ABS is located in the rear of the car. Since the install the brake peddle is soft. First push goes nearly to the floor, then it tightens up. We have bleed the breaks 4-5 times, and there doesn't seem to be any air in the line. Thanks for your input.
If it is tied into ABS, you may have to have brakes bled with a Tech 2 scan tool.
It sounds to me like you have to bleed the ABS system. (Its different from bleeding the calipers) This is ONLY done with a Tech 2 or similar scanning tool.
I had the same issue after my line lock was installed. What i did to fix it was flush the entire brake system (front and back). I'd give that a try first before spending lots of $$$$.
A little off the subject. I noticed your car on the trailer. Not sure if you haul it in this position but it looks like it's too far aft. Do you notice any excessive swaying at highway speed? Especially when a semi passes you? If so, moving it forward should help. I have a trailer like yours and position my C5 such that the rear view mirror is about 2-3 inches ahead of the centerline of the front axle. Works well for me.
