Default ECS H/C Results

Car is back from ECS, with TEA p/p LS6 heads, G5X3 cam, LS2 chain, American Racing headers with X pipe and Borla Stingers. Car runs and sounds awesome however not for the faint hearted! Doug and Chris did an SD Tune and some dyno pulls. It made an amazing 471 rwhp and 410 rwtq! It is very streetable and idles just fine. Great job by everyone at ECS and I highly recommend them for mods and tuning.
Just proof that just because their name says "Supercharging" that's not all they do. I will post a pic of the dyno sheet as soon as I get it from Doug or Chris. Great job guys!

Normally I'd want to complain, and wonder how they gave you 20 more horsepower than me... but, heck, I can't even handle the power I have now!

Great HP #'s! ECS did work on my 04 last summer, G5X3 cam, Kooks LT headers, timing chain, thermostat, oil pump and tune. 405 rwhp. I couldn't swing $$ the heads at the same time. Did you upgrade your intake manifold and throttle body? That is great rwhp and torque for just a H/C setup.

I'll let Doug answer that one. My car made stupid power before the mods. It made 390 at the wheels with just headers and a vararam.

Yes, Chris did mention putting in larger injectors with the headers. I beleive another 15-20 hp is available with the 90 mm TB and Fast intake manifold. It's only money right Congrats on your mods and results.

holly ****!!! i can't believe you made those numbers with a LS6 intake. i made 445/408 with TEA LS6 heads, a 232/236 580 580 cam, LGs, 3:90 gears, with my stock intake. TEA heads are awsome. congrats on your numbers.

Thats only because your h/c package was done three years ago now, the slight improvements over time have yeilded a few more ponies. Plus some new tuning software doesn't hurt

Glad your happy with it BM

Great results from the ECS team, Bob. I guess WW won't be passing you in the straights anymore.

Well done ECS! Only really good tuning can get that kind of HP out of a LS6 intake. Your car put 15 more HP than mine with just headers and a CAI. You must have a strong one.

Driveability is about as good as you can get with 500+ HP H/C car. I can drive as low as 1500 with no issues, if you go lower it will buck a little. You have to remember what the trade off is, for me it's minor. Talk with Doug or Chris and they can mod and tune to what you use the car for and what your goals are.

Can't wait to get a ride along at WGI this weekend. Wow, those are big numbers from cam/heads. Can't afford it this year, but next season for sure. ECS-East Coast Super Cars.

That's what I like about my smaller cam. I gave away about 20 peak Hp, but I got 13 more Ft lbs of torque than your results. I can let the clutch out at idle (800) and motor away with no bucking. I figure when I get the FAST fixed and installed, I'll be up there with your HP level, and not lose the low end.
