Default Need Help! Got Check Engine Light - No Codes except

Driving home tonight got CHECK ENGINE light. Ran DTC for codes, all I got was 1096,1064, and 1016 (All loss of communication codes which I'm trying to clear w/50 ignition cycles procedure) yet all systems seem to work. Car runs great, no stall, idle, ignition, power, mileage problems. No codes pertaining to emissions systems, engine systems etc. either. Any suggestions before I take her in to the dealer? I'm stumped. I swapped a standard '99 air box with a 2004 Z06 air box, but that was 120 miles ago. Did a search, no help.

You can delete the codes by pressing "reset" as you manually check them.

Did you find out what was wrong? I had the same thing happened to me. 1016,1096,1064 and Check Engine Light comes on but the car runs great. No stall, idle, ignition problems here either. As soon as I reset the PCM P 1016 code the Check Engine Light goes off but it comes back on again after some time. Please let us know what you found?

Steve my car just started having this problem on my way back to MO from FL. When I clear the code P1016 the CEL goes off? When the light is on the car runs absolutely perfect still. What do you mean the codes are not in the module?
