CAR RUNS STRONG. DROVE IT BACK FROM LOU'S PLACE . I'M GLAD I WENT WITH THE X3 PACKAGE BECAUSE ALL THE DRIVEABILITY ISSUES SOME COMLAIN ABOUT ARE NOT AN ISSUE AT ALL. NASTY IDLE WITH GOOD ROAD MANNERS. JUST TAKES A LITTLE CLUTCH TOUCH UNDER 1500 RPMS.
THANKS BOBBY & ANTHONY AND THE TECHS AT LG MOTORSPORTS

LG is a great shop. I had about 9 months to a year of clutch vibration problems another "highly reputable" shop in the DFW area could not resolve. Per their advice I was ready to have the engine pulled and balanced since it was almost undriveable.

Took it to LG and within 5 minutes, Lou told me what he thought the problem was. Had his tech give a second opinion, and sure enough when I picked the vette up it was fixed.

Top notch shop with excellent mechanics. I highly recommend them.

What sort of I/E duration did you get?

Did you use the LSA of 112 or 114?

I am excited for you. I have been thinking about getting the G5X3 for some time now.

This thread has my tongue drooling.

I WENT WITH THE 114 LSA AND ITS GREAT FOR A DAILY DRIVER.
I WAS THINKING ABOUT GOING WITH THE SMALLER CAM BUT SOME MEMBERS SAID AFTER THEY GOT IT , THEY WISHED THEY WENT WITH THE BIGGER X3 VERSION. THE CAR HAS GOOD THROTTLE RESPONSE ALSO. MUCH MORE NOTICABLE TORQUE FROM THE LONG TUBES AND
PULLS STRONG ENOUGH TO OPEN YOUR EYES FROM 3500 TO 6800.
LOTS OF FUN. MY WIFE EVEN LOVES IT! RACEWAY PARK ON FRIDAY NIGHT TO MAKE A PASS OR 2.

WHAT WAS THE PROBLEM? I HAVE A SMALL VIBRATION AFTER MY CLUTCH INSTALL , MOST OF IT WENT AWAY, BUT SMALL AMOUNT IS STILL NOTICABLE. POSSIBLY THE TOURQUE TUBE BUSHINGS BUT IT WAS NOT VIBRATING UNTIL AFTER THE CLUTCH INSTALL AND THEY EVEN HAD THE ASSY BALANCED.??LGM DID NOT DO THE CLUTCH INSTALL
BY THE WAY.

The origninal shop either did not replace the pilot bearing, or when they reinstalled the shaft, they damaged it. The resulting vibrations caused the torque tube bushings to be destroyed, and the torque tube to bend. New torque tube, new pilot bearing, and new bushings fixed it.
