Cam ???
Looking at a Crower 00572 cam for my 97 coupe. basically stock with a zip tie mod. A4 with a 3.15 rear. Only 13K miles on the car and just starting to get the mod bug.The cam specs are:
Intake-272 deg. duration and .553 lift
Exhaust-280 deg. duration and .575 lift.
Any thoughts on the grind? I'll probably end up with an exhaust system upgrade and possibly a few other related mods. Will I need a retune and do you think the cam install is worth the effort? I'd be happy with a lumpy idle without losing too much on the low end. Maybe get in a couple of passes down the strip in the future. Not looking to be a world beater. Thanks-Chuck.
