Hey guys/gals, I'm relatively new here so still trying to find my way around the lingo. Can you please tell me what a "good tune" is, involves and the typical cost for one of these would be. Also what kind of gains could I expect if any. Thanks in advance. PS, This forum is great!

Tuning is typically required when one makes modifications to one's engine that exceed the adjustability of the stock 'tune'. Generally tuning runs $400-500 and can pickup anywhere from a couple of HP to 40 or more, depends upon the modifications. YMMMV
