My 2005 C5 garage queen has recently turned over 3500 miles and is starting to have some rattles inside the driver side door. Problem for me is not knowing is this just part of the ageing process for the car or should I take it back to the dealer and ask them to repair while still under warranty? On a recent same type problem with my 2003 truck the dealer pulled the door apart and only made it worse...... No way do I want this problem to get any worse on my Vette...... HELP, any suggestions?

Either its a 2004 or its a C6.
I have a 2004 DD with about 20k miles on it. Doesn't rattle too much at all.
Before you freak out, check the obvious things. C5's have in my opinion, one of the most obvious design snafus out there - the door reflectors seem to line up perfectly with the seatbelt latch. It bangs and rattles against the reflector. Try buckling the passenger seatbelt.
Next, make sure that the noise isn't coming from the speaker cover.
Another place to look is the sunvisors. Make sure they are not banging. Its kinda hard to tell where the noises are coming from in these cars. I had a clunk from underneath the car that myself and two dealerships and a tuner thought was coming from the rear. It turns out that the noise was because of the front endlinks not being tightened properly. Who knew.
