Key Fob. New problem
The drivers door won't lock or unlock with the fob. I know what that problem is. Just need time to fix it.
I had 1 fob that didn't work at all. The other one locks and unlocks the pass.door and the trunk. The drivers side once in awhile.
The problem is that the old one works and the new one I just got from Fred Bean works like the passive feature is on. Both switches are in the off position. But when I walk past the car to get the mall or for anyother reason the passenger door keeps opening and closing. You never know if the alarm is set or not.

Sounds like the door control mod and not the fob, does the door lock and un-lock with the interior door button?

No the drivers door won't work with the button on the fob or the door switch. you have to push the lever on the door and hold the handle up when closing the door for it to lock.
Would the door control mod make the fobs act like the passive feature is on? When I walk by the car with the remote in my pocket I hear the pass. door locking and then locking back up. But you never know if the alarm is on. Pain in the ****. Horn blowing. While you try to get in the car.
