Default LT Header Question?

Specifically looking at AR Long Tube headers for my C5.

Question is: What is the difference between the ones made for 1997-2000 cars and the ones made for 2001-2004 cars?

the difference is the AIR tube location and location of dipstick, American Racing takes this into account and builds the headers for the two specific aps. (97-00/01-04); the other item to note is the '04 only O2 sensor plugs

call www.aacorvette.com , I spoke to Andy last week about these units, they are very highly recommended

Thanks Connecticut.

So it sounds like, from your answer, that there is no way that these could be made to be interchangeable because of the dipstick location. The reason I ask is that a local "sportscar specialist" was trying to convince me that the LT's made for the 97-00 would go right on my 01. He had a set on hand for the 97-00 C5. Didn't seem right to me. I also had some other reasons to stay away from this guy.

I just made an appointment with A&A to get a set of coated AR longtubes put on week after next. Thanks again.
