High pitched "whine"
My 97 C5 has a high pitched whine at that is particularly noticeable at startup.It seems to be coming from behind the drivers seat and sounds like an electronic type humm that you would hear through a speaker.It changes pitch upon stepping on the brake and continues while driving.Does this sound like the fuel pump? Should I be concerned?Thanks.

Yes, it's the fuel pump. My '98 coupe did the same thing. It's nothing to be concerned about, although it sure is annoying. :(
