replacement muffler
Has anyone here just replaced the mufflers in their vettes? I have a c5 z06 and I want more sound! I don't believe in spending 800 dollars for a catback when I could possibly replace both mufflers for under 200. I was thinking I could cut the exhaust pipes before the mufflers and clamp on the replacement.

If its the Titanium Z06 exhaust, DON"T CUT IT....
Those are worth $$$. Seen them going for $350-$500. If you want to try muffler swaps, find someone to donate a stock exhaust for you to cut up, Or if you can sell it and contribute that couple hundred bucks, the Bullets are in range.

Don't cut the TI's, you'll want to put them back on eventually
