Engine Codes Question
My 2001 coupe seems to throw codes frequently - about 1 a week. I have pulled them twice and they are always the same. It's Loss Of Comm (U1160H, U1000H, U1064H) and Knock Sensor Rear P0332H. Is this anything to be concerned about? I always use Premium fuel. My car is a daily driver. Thanks gm

These are all Historical (H) codes and not indicating current conditions which are indicated by a C after the code. According to the service manual, those codes should disappear after 50 start cycles if they don't reoccur as a real problem. I have the 1064 H and everything works fine. Try clearing them at the DIC. Turn key to on (don't start), select OPTIONS on your DIC key pad, push FUEL 4 times rapidly while holding down OPTIONS. After codes are diplayed MANAUAL disgnostics will appear. Clear codes by selecting RESET. OPTIONS advances throught the code set. Reset them all and select E/M when done. Remove key.
