The other day, I was getting out of my Vette, pulled the tilt steering lever forward, and heard a slight 'pop'. I then tried to pull the lever forward again to pull the wheel down to normal driving position, and there was no resistance, and the wheel won't move. I took a quick look underneath the steering column to see if it could be taken apart easily to see the tilt linkage, but couldn't see much.
I was hoping this would be an easy fix, but don't know where to start. If it involves pulling the steering wheel, etc., I will take it to the Chevy service at the dealer. I just hate to start there if this could be something I could do myself. If some kind soul could help me with instructions, and / or pictures, I would be very appreciative!
