Default Front Signal Lamps

How do I replace the front signal lights. The owners manual only shows headlights and tail lights.

Thanks

Dave

There are shortcuts, but the way GM intended is to remove the lower close out panel behind the air dam extension on each side and the wheel well. It makes it easier to also remove the air dam extension. Then you can easily get to the bulbs.
I changed out the whole lens assembly through that opening, so there is plenty of room.

One short cut is to reach in through the brake duct opening in the bumper, or manually open the headlight, remove the trim plate, and go in through there.

The Shop Manual way is to jack up the car (slightly) and remove 4 or 5 screws on panel under car, move brake duct and replace bulb. I have done it several times, it is not too bad.

PM me if you need help, I am in Waldorf also, you could come by the house. Don't buy the bulb from the local dealer, it was $10 several years ago.

ok...i'm not gonna say that it's the most painless way, but it is the quickest i've found.
1. turn on your head lights.
2. find the easiest way to reach in either behind or from the sid of the headlights to reach your bulb. I'm a decent size guy and it required a little pain and contortion to reach the bulbs.
3. grit your teeth and replace the son of a &*@#$!!!
NOTE: you need to wear latex gloves so that you don't touch the bulb itself (this'll shorten your bulb life severely)

GOOD LUCK and GODSPEED!!!!

just pop up the headlights and take off the headlight shroud. you can change both sides in no time flat.

Default signal lights

Opening the headlight either by turning em on or manually cranking them and then REACHING in works with NO SCREW REMOVAL. If you have HUMONGUS HANDS like me take out the 3 screws on the plastic panel wrapping around each headlight. Pleanty of room and no jacking up the car either. Have fun BIGHANK
