Default Tech heads inside please!!

Im debating on buying a H/C/I set up off a 02 z06. I have a 98 coupe ... so my question is what else will need to be done for these to fit right?? I believe they are the sodium heads if that sounds right? Please any help would be great!

I believe you will also have to change over to the newer style PCV system, but hopefully someone else can confirm this.

I just bought Z06 '02-'04 heads and a cam for my '01 coupe. My understanding is that the '02-'04 ls6 heads came with longer valves and the '02-'04 z06 camshaft has a smaller base circle so the pushrods are the same as the regular ls1 pushrods. So as long as you have the matching '02-'04 heads and cam you're OK with the pushrods.

Now I think there's may be an issue with the earlier valve covers, but hopefully someone else can elaborate on that.

Heads and cam are bolt in, although you will need center bolt valve covers.

The LS6 intake will not clear your current steam vent pipes. You'll need to get the block off plugs for the rear ports or clearance your intake.
