I just put new HID headlights on my car. Does anyone know of a way I can adjust them without taking them to a shop. I'm killing guys driving at night. Looking for the how to adjustment and how to know when the height is correct

With the lights in the open position there is a removable cap, faceing the center of the car. Remove the cap and you will see a shinny copper looking rod with a star type thread, that with adjust the up and down of the light. I cant remeber the size nor what direction to turn the rod to move it up or down. Just try different sizes until one fits and see how it moves it. Maybe someone will give the specifics, hope that helps.

Cool, now does anyone know the procedure for setting the correct height?? I heard someone say measure distance from ground to the center of the bulb and mark on the wall then cut the lights on and adjust?? Something like that..... how far is the car from the wall????

Be easy when making adjustments as the adjusters have a tendency to break. Would squirt a little wd-40 and turn them a half turn each way to loosen them.

Sweet spot for light adjustment is 3 ft from wall. Height of beam should be around 24.5" - 25.0 ".

I would remove the black outside bezel completely to get access and lubricate.
