Default Dyno completed today.

I went over to Performance Technical Center today and had my 1999 MN6 FRC dynoed. Met with Geoff and Patrick, and what a couple of great guys!

Here are the engine related mods I have:
Vortex intake, Power Loader, Corsa Indy's, Corsa X-pipe.

I made 2 runs:

First run: 314.3hp 329.0 trq with an A/F ratio hovering around 13
Second run: 319.3 hp 331.3 trq with an A/F ratio hovering around 14.7

Unfortunately, I don't have a scanner, but I'll see if one of my friends can get the sheet up for me. For now, you'll have to take my word

Why did your A/F ratio jump by 1.7? Something sounds fishy, can you post your average torque number (not the peak)?

Good runs, mine made simular numbers before the heads/cam. I'd be concerned running a 14.7 A/F ratio at WOT, that's a little too close to lean for me. I tuned mine for 13 - 13.5 at WOT using my MAF-T, a little more conservative and the LS1 makes good power there. :chevy

Dual,

What time were you there getting the dyno done? I had my car in there getting headers and an X pipe installed and then I had my car dyno'd around 3:00pm.

I can't tell what the average torque is. But, it starts at about 300 at 2500 rpms and then peaks at 331 around 4500 rpms and then dips to about 275 at 6000 rpms.

I was there around 10:00am. Geoff showed me your car cause I told him I am interested in the TPIS headers. Your car looks smoove!

What kind of numbers did the headers and x-pipe turn on the dyno?

I was dumb and didn't do a before and after dyno test but Geoff (sp) estimated that with the headers, x, and my intake I got an increase in the range of 25hp. I can without a doubt tell a SOP difference and the sound is awesome now with my PRT's.
