I sent this inquiry to Bill Curlee for advice but thought I'd put it out for the rest of the Forum to see if you could provide any insight. I've been battling this code for almost 3 months now. Here's what has been done so far. Grounds and connections triple checked, replaced wheel bearing assembly and EBTCM and yesterday dealer rewired from the connection on the frame to the EBTCM. The one constant that happens before the dash lights up and a code is set is static coming over the radio. Just before the code sets the radio gets very staticy and stays that until I reset or clear the code. I drive a short distance radio gets staticy and the C1225 code follows. If anybody has any ideas, please let me know. TIA

I'm taking a shot in the dark here ....
Is the static rythmic, or random? In other words, could it be something like a spark plug wire that is shorting ... if so the static will follow a pattern (faster at higher engine RPM ... slowing as RPM come down)?? A fault in the spark plug wires can generate enough RF emission to not only affect the radio, but also computers in the car like the EBCM.
If the static is just noise ... wow ... you got a puzzler there. You've already replaced the wheel hub and EBCM ... only other thing you might try is new (temporary) wiring between the EBCM and that wheel hub's sensor to see if the fault is in the wiring harness itself.
Again, though, I'm just shootin in the dark here. Good luck
