Hypertech Gurus, can you help?
Hi,
I just purchased a used Hypertech 30011 for my Z06. The programmer reads my VIN and PCM but gives the message " cal not found 6D call Hypertech".
So, my question, does the programmer marry the VIN or can it be used in another vehicle as long the Hypertech program has been reloaded before sale?

It can be passed on from one car to another as long as the data is UNLOADED from the previous car before it is used on the next car. In other words, it can be used on only one vehicle at a time . Good luck...

Perhaps you can give Hypertech a call and see if there's anything they can do to help. I don't know how their customer relations people are today, but, a few years back, you couldn't get them to answer the telephone, let alone, answer any questions. Good luck....
