I believe the t-stat and water pump is the same from 03 back...I know it did change in 04 though. I had a pump go out and the part I got was an 04 pump...the t-stat housing is considerably smaller then the early models. Same size hose and connector- just the part that has the t-stat and bolts to the H2O pump was different. Did you have the pump replaced recently? perhaps the part is the newer replacement.

just got off the phone with napa and advance autoparts. No one has a 160 thermostat for my car!!! I guess i have the newer one...anyone here have a vendor that sells these thermostats?

SLP is where I bought mine...they are hal the price as the older one comes with the neck...this is just the t-stat...
