What happens if I remove all the pressure sensors from the wheels on my C5 and use regular valve stems? Does the DIC give error displays everytime I start the car. Ive tried everything. First all sensors were reading, then the right rear quit...did the relearn and both rear quit...bought a stronger magnet, did the relearn and now three out of four wont relearn!!! Only the L front will relearn. I cant believe they are all going bad? What the hell...is happening??? Suggestions P L E A S E !!!!
If the right front wont relearn, the procedure is interupted and you cant go on to the rears. It is possible that just the right front is faulty. You can check this by tricking the module (place magnet on right rear instead of right front when instructed by the DIC) and then procede to left rear.If both rears beep, than you know only the right front is faulty...Tricks of the trade ;)
Hey C-5 Tech ! I installed the sensor I bought from you and I had to "trick"
the module like you informed me to do earlier. It worked. I started with the LF and got a beep then had to go to the RR to get the second beep, which told me I had a bad RF sensor too. I really appreciate your willingness to help me and others on this board. You have helped me a great deal. Kept me from paying someone to diagnose the car at the dealer.
I feel your pain. I have not been able to re learn my sensors since the ccw rims install. Tried all kinds of magnets...the left front that starts the sequence wont beep. The dic indicates that they all are working, just not in the right sequence. Guess I will have to take to ole dealer. Hope the don't decide to take out tranny to correct the problem.
