I've been looking at cat-back exhuast systems for sometime now and I cannot decide between the Borla Stingers or the B&B Bullets. I like the melow but intimidating sound of the Stingers, but Im leaning towards the throaty, muscular sound of the Bullets. Im not too worried about a performance gain, but I am curious to see what others have to say about the two systems. Any insight or comments will be greatly appreciated.
They are both good systems. Go with the one you like the best. I have read a number of threads from folks with the B&Bs where one of the hanger welds has failed necessitating a repair. Not sure if this is still an issue or not. I have not read of this type of failure on the Borlas.

Go with the Borla's my hanger broke over the weekend on my Bullets. Also B&B has to have some of the poorest manufacturing I have ever seen. The welds look like they were done by a blind person.

Bullets
Get the Bullets. They are cheaper, lighter, and louder. I've had mine for about 2 months and already wish they were louder. A set of LTs will certainly solve that.

DHL's or GHL's, lol? We know what you were trying to say. Anyways, out of the two mentioned, I would say the B&B's. Just because I like LOUD and they have that Muscular sound that I like. Kind of similar to the SLP Loudmouths. The Borlas just didn't have it for me, but they are a good system and you still may like them the best. The best thing to do is to take a ride or listen to them in person at a car show or wherever you have the chance to hear each one in person.
I had the Corsa Indy Pace exhaust on my Z06 and the Borla in my previous C5. I also have long tube headers and at WOT both systems sound great! Good higher pitched exhuast note that really turned some heads. The Corsa mufflers were too big and added to much weight though.
Overall, I wanted a deeper, louder, true american muscle V-8 rumble. I switched to the B&B Bullets two weeks ago. Best decision I have made on my Vette. Now this is what the bad-*** Vette should sound like!!
Not only is it lighter than both the Corsa or Borla systems, the quad tapered cannons stick way out the back giving me the aggressive look I was looking for. The deep rumble at all the rpm range is absolutely the best sounding exhaust I have ever heard bar none.
I also picked up a brand new set from Tbyrne Motorsports for less than $600.00 brand new (ask for Tom). Way cheaper than the Corsa or Borla.
I also have not had any issues with fit or overall quality. I think they re-designed these because the tips now look angled and stick out more than the older pics I have seen with Bullets! My $.02 cents!!
Another vote for Bullets here -- I just put a set on my 6-speed '01 vert, pretty much stock otherwise, and WOW. Exotic, muscular growl on acceleration, and cruising is actually fairly quiet, below 2000rpm or so. It'll get you noticed!
I have had bullets for over a year now and love them. However, you do get a drone at 1800-2000rpm. If I had to do it over, I would probably go with the Bullets all over again.

Bullets
I also have a Corsa X-pipe as well. Supposedly it gets rid of most of the popping during deceleration. It doesn't bother me much, but I still have some of that gurgling/popping sound when decelerating in gear. I will add though, if you can find that point where you're at like 3K RPMs and let off the gas to slow down it sounds awesome.
Do some of you that have LTs have any input on how the Bullets sound with those headers vs. Bullets stock?
I know a guy in town with the B&B setup. Its a built ZO6 and it sounds amazing. He put down some really impressive numbers on a stock cube car. He said he wouldn't go any other way.
