Default CV joint and Intermidiate Strength???

Ive looked around but no real good anwsers, that last piece if my driveline that remains stock are my CV shafts. That being said what kind of power are people throwing at these and having them hold up, full track use on slicks and DRs on the street.

Anyone make aftermarket beefed up ones?

i lauched mine with a 100 shot and 408 stroker, i am a manual car and i was cutting sub 1.5 60's, so i was slamming those halfshafts pretty hard, never broke one. if you compare the factory shafts to other factory irs v8cars, the vettes is much thicker.

Differential output shaft usually will let go first. Left side most common. Call or IM Phil at Dyno Tech Engineering. Forum vendor and an expert on C5 rears.

Robert

I have a DTE diff for my car and a RPM Trans along with a ECS driveshaft I was just making sure I wasnt leaving a weakpoint in the driveline with the CVs.
