You can't check codes on a 2005 Z06, there was no 2005 Z06. Can you be more accurate on the year and/or model you need assistance on?

Post this question in C6 General or the Tech section, but basically you need a scanner because the codes cannot be checked like they can be on a C5.

He said a 2006 ZO6. I have been told there is no way to do the code check on the C6 Corvettes.

Since you're in the C5 forum you may not find the correct answer. You should ask the question over in the C6 forum to be sure.

The C6 does not show or allow error codes to be erased via the DIC as the C5 does.

If you have On-Star GM could tell you if codes are present else you need to buy a code reader that works with the new EPA "CAN" OBD protocol or a full scanner that you can use via a P/C or laptop
