Rear side marker lights

Rear side marker lights
Has anyone converted their rear side marker lights from red to amber? I figured this would be a snap after my Euro tail light swap, but I'm a bit stumped in gaining access. It appears you have to remove the inner wheel well cover. The driver's manual does not even address changing the bulb for these lights. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the past posts Mr. Lucky - I didn't even think to look in there while I had the tail lights out! So when I use the nuts off the red lights, they will create a thread on the amber light posts?

While you are changing them out do the mod to make them blink. You wire the ground of the side marker into the outer tail lamp somehow. It's been a while so I can't remember which wire(s) exactly but I'm sure you can find an old post on how to do it.
