rusted throttle body gears
My dads c-5 zo6 has rust in the throttle body where the gears and fly by wire motor meet. I am getting a reduced engine power mode from it. I cleand it the best I can without soaking it in my parts washer. I greased it also and it freed up smooth. It works longer before it throws the code now. Has any one else had this problem.

There is supposed to be a gasket between the motor assembly and the throttle body. The gears in mine were pretty well coated with grease, was there a lot of grease in the box? I've never heard of this.

Did Dad do the throttle body bypass???? This is the same condensation that freezes in the winter causing throttle stick. We saw this early on...
