I have a Halltech Tric/Mag on my 2000-now for sale in the sales section.
I need to know how easy it is to take off my existing shroud with the hole with a new one so I can put the stock air box back on.
If you know if it is easy or hard let me know and if you have done it than please send me instructions.
Halltech and only exhaust took me to a 12.9 but need to return it to stock to resell...either gonna get a 02 Coupe or Z06.
Not hard at all. There are about 6 small bolts that attach it to the front fascia in the front. Then there are 2 bolts on each side that attach it to the skid plates in front (and if I remember correctly one of the bolts on each side also ties into the fascia). Then there are 4 bolts in the engine compartment that hold on the upper radiator cover. Don't forget to unhook the A/C temp sensor on the right hand side before you pull the shroud out. When you replace the shroud you should also get two new seals that glue to the shroud and force the air through the radiator.
