Stock Mufflers
Hi:
I own a 99 black C5 with stock exhaust. I noticed today that some the black paint on my mufflers is starting to wear off. It is rather unsightly. Has this happened to any one else? I assume I can repaint the mufflers.
Any suggestions of how best to do this would be apppreciated.

There are a few TSB's out on that problem. Just clean it up real good and spray it down with some high temp (exhaust paint) black spray paint. STOVE BRIGHT is the name of a real good brand. You can find it in any local fireplace shop, possibly ACE, or something like that.
