Intermittant missfire
I have an intermittant misfire on I believe cyl 8. I used a timing light and the flashes didn't seem regular.
So I moved the coil, wire and spark plug to cyl 3. It's running better today but yesterday after the swap I had a miss.
I waiting to get the car tuned at Vette Doctors....
Is there any other way of determining which plug is misfiring? (remember its not always)

Not a really good way that I know of, unless you have a scanner or it throws some codes.
You can also check the condition of the spark plugs. The cylinder that's misfiring will most likely look different (black in most cases) than the rest. Move the coil/injector/or wire and see if the dirty plug follows the component move.
