Default Crank trigger sensor/reluctor wheel trouble-HELP!

Anyone ever had trouble with their reluctor wheel coming loose? I posted about a month ago about getting a code P0336, or a similar #, can't recall exactly for sure. Anyhow, it was a crank trigger circuit/sensor failure code. W2W has changed the sensor, and it still does the same thing, same code. I know they will find the problem, as they now have narrowed it down to being either a brand new sensor being defective, a bad ECM, or it may be (REALLY BAD!!!) a reluctor wheel has come loose on the crank, very rare, they say. But after the wiring has been fixed, and the sensor changed, with no improvement, it has to be one of the three above problems. Anyone ever heard of this before? Thanks. Update! And not a good one. The crank trigger sensor now shows signs of something rubbing on it's pickup face- gotta be the wheel has come loose/shifted, etc. I am hoping (REAL HARD!!!!) that it can be re-positioned on the crank and re-tack welded so the motor/drivetrain doesn't need to be dropped. Anyone who has any experience with any of this trouble would sure be a welcome adviser at this point. Can this be done w/out yanking the drivetrain? I sure hope so! Thanks.

Did you figure out your issue? I'm hoping mine in the sensor but just in case it's not I'm trying to be prepared. I tried pm'n you but it said you exceded your limits or I wouldn't of brought this thread back from the dead.
