I'm probably gonna get hammered for this one...but do firebird and/or camaro wheels fit '97 vette? I've seen some I really like....

The rear wheels might stick out a little far due to the lower offset.

Do you have a pic of the wheels or car you saw? Many fbody enthusiasts will remove the stock wheels and buy corvette replica wheels, or other aftermarket wheels. Possible what you saw isn't specifically for fbody, and the manufacturer would more than likely offer ones for Corvettes too.
