Im new to forum and trying to get rid of my trans am for a corvette. I found a 2002 blue coupe for 22595 with 77k car looks great dealer says runs fine with no issues what do you gus think of price and miles thanks in advance for advice.
ask the dealer for a carfax and check the vin number on the car make sure its on the same car and the report will tell you if the car has ever had any major damage or problems.if thats ok you should be able to get the dealer to dicker atleast a little. i just bought a 97 for 16,250, so you should be getting a pretty good deal for the money.thats about the going price on ebay
Don't jump on the first one you see in person. Look at as many different cars as you can and you will make a better decision in the long run. If a car slips thru your fingers because you hesitated then it was not meant to be. The price should be secondary concern to whether or not the car has the options and colors you want. Auto or 6sp is the biggest choice then color then condition and finally price. Good luck and welcome to the forum!
Ive been searching for awhile and been going back and forth about a auto or standard I love the color of the car and it seems to be in great shape . Ive looked a many of them and I am not wanting to settle just to have one.
I posted an ad to sell my TA and got $19,500 for it and bought a Black 99 FRC w/50K miles and a few mods for $18,000 all in 10 days..... I think I did pretty good.
Have a GM dealer provide you with the build and warranty history on any GM product from the "GMVIS" section of GM Dealer World. The site is http://www.gm-dealerworld.com/sites/dwperson/ but it is password protected so the general public is restricted from using it. It is the best way of confirming the warranty Hx and check the build specs for the vehicle you are considering. Good Luck! E.C.
