I set the driver side mirror on my '04 and the mirror glass tends to settle to a different angle as I drive. Not a major issue, I suppose, but annoying enough for me to ask the forum if you guys know if there is a fix or if I'm doing something wrong. I've only had the car for a month and I'm resetting the mirror every time I get in the thing. My '72s mirror used to flop around when the wind blew--much less when I drove it. I figured 32 years later Chevrolet might have found a way to keep a mirror in place. Silly me...
first look at the back of your key fob (remote) it will have a 1 or 2 on the back of it.... then start the car and set the mirrors as u like.....then look by the door handle and u will see a 1 and 2, depending on what key u use hold that button on the door down and i think the light will flash once the memory is set... (i think thats how it works, cars been in the shop for 2 months cant remember exactly) what i do is set both 1 and 2 the same just incase i grab either set of keys.... hope this works for u
I have a similar issue with my driver's mirror. Behind the mirror are three tabs/connectors that connect it to the mirror module. I have popped mine in and it snaps in place, but after a while the mirror is loose again.
Has anyone fixed this issue with out replacing the module?
