just got my e-bay headers went to a few shops (im in st.louis mo.) and most people around here wont touch em. or they want 600.00 bucks i think this is ridiculous! wanted to know if anybody knows of any good shops around the mo. area that will put headers on my 2000 vett.
i would try to do it myself but i think there is cutting required and i dont know if i can do that with the tools ive got. any help would be appreciated

Man I hear ya, I couldn't find anybody to put mine on here either. I just done mine myself. I thought the ebay headers fit very well. The only cutting I had to do was on the collector. Not on the headers but the Xpipe. If you have a sawzaw and a wire welder you shouldn't have a problem. It wasn't that bad. I am waning to put some on my 2000 TA but it looks like a major pain compared to the vette.

I agree with the above post on the chain style exhaust cutter. I used it to do my x pipe as well. Autozone loans these for free. You need to put a security deposit down but get it back when you bring the tool back.
