anyone know the exact procedure for lowering on stock bolts. The rear of my car is 1 3/8" higher than the front as seen in photo. I would like to lower the rear 1" allowing 3/8 for the weight of the driver. Is this doable?
thanks
Lowering the rear is ultra-easy. You don't even have to remove the wheels.
Locate rear adjusting bolt. Use a 13/16" wrench on the top nut and an 18mm wrench on the bottom.

Holding the top nut stationary, loosen the bolt(s) equally on both sides. Make sure you leave at least 2 full threads visible on the top. I think 5 to 5.5 turns CCW should put you in the ballpark.
I backed the bolts out with 2 threads showing but it only gave me about 1/2". May have to go with after market bolts to go lower.
thanks<>
Give the car time to settle. If you lower it the 1" it will settle some more over the next few days. If it is down 1/2" now just drive it for a while, it will come down some more.
if leaving 2 threads showing on stock bolts isnt low enough cut the rubber bushing in half that will give you about another 1/2inch more. I found if you do a couple of launches and turn back and fourth like when a stock car racer warms his tires you can settle the suspention without waiting.
It doesn't hurt to cut the bushings. Remember that in front you pretty much get what you take out on the bolts. On the rear it seems to be about 1/2 of what you take out. Cut 1/2" off the top and bottom bushing and you get about 1/2" drop total. If you cut the rear bushings you'll probably be just about where you want to be (1") total.
