The way you formed the original post you made it sound like any mod that changes the VE of the motor screws up the A/F ratio. This is not the case with the bolt-ons that the guy said he had done. The maf can easily handle those little mods without needing to be tuned to squeeze out every HP. I guess I could have ellaborated but didn't think I should have to for someone posting advise in a Tech section.

After I installed a Halltech Stinger on my car (first mod) cruising a/f's were in the 19:1 range after more than 100 miles of MAF learning.
Using a wide band and hptuner eio program.
