LS6 vs. LS7 lifters, same part
just ck'd this w/ GM, same part number, I was interested to see the recent jump to the LS7 lifter, it's just a nomenclature change the #'s are the same

I thought I saw something over on the ls1tech site about new designed lifters for the 'LS7'. Since the LS2/LS7 blocks are basically the same as the LS1/LS6 blocks, the lifters are interchangeable

GM Parts direct $94.64 for 16 LS series lifters (redesigned for the LS7 high rpm motor). Comes to ~$115 with shipping.
Fred Beans should be able to beat that price, they usually give members GREAT deals!

They are a revised/improved version of the old roller lifter that will now be the standard. However, there's also a version designed for the high revving (8500!!) Cadillac CTS-V racing motor. They're twice the money, however.
