Putting in a twin street this weekend. Hoping for some advice and or pictures from those who have done it before. I read the directions from McLeod and am confused about one or two things.
1) It says I might want to get the flywheel balanced? Since it's new should I still get it balanced, and if so, what do I tell the machine shop?
2) The directions talk about sliding a gauge between plates and to look for a clearance of .02 or .025. Can someone explain when (after it's installed or before?) and how to do this? Also, directions on what to do should clearance be to little or large.
I tried searching for links on this but no luck. Any help is much appreciated.
I Would Strongly Suggest Getting It Balanced, I Put A Stock Setup That Was Out Of Balance And The Vibration Was Horrible. This Is Not A Fun Job To Do Over And Over, As I Have Done It Three Times In The Last Two Months
