Headlight gear issue worse?
Hi guys!
I just replace the motor gear in my 2000 vette headlight (it's the sealed type) and I failed to do this procedure:
BEFORE you remove the drive shaft and plastic gear, make a reference mark on the drive shaft and the housing
How bad is this and what do I do now? The glue has to cure for 24hrs so that's where I am now. I have not yet put the motor back on assembly.

well....you can reinstall it and try it...if it works you got lucky...if not take the nut off the arm that raises the lights and try to rotate the gear and reinstall ...repeat until it works...PITA....
