Remove the HVAC control.
Take the unit apart and solder in the new bulbs (Radio Shack) on to the circuit board.
I changed them all so I was sure they would all be the same brightness and because I had a couple burn out and figured the rest weren't far behind.
I used some shrink tubing around the base of the bulb to help support it as the stock ones have a little plastic base.
A lot of people have been just sending their unit here...
