battery Dead.. What could be wrong??
left car (2001)sit for 4 days ...after long trip .. come back to start nada no go..battery has beeen replaced a couple of years ago..
Do you think that the battery may be shot?

Same EXACT thing happened to me last week.
Original AC/Delco,(2000) dead as a doornail, AND it JUST started leaking!!!
Tossed it immediately, and put in an Optima Red Top!
BTW : Car is fine, no problems

battery
Sounds like battery. Have it checked out. I wouldn't be apt to replace it with a red top as members here have had problems with them also. I would look at the new Sears or Delcos as they have a four year free replacement battery and most of ours go out before the four years. I just got one and I don't envision ever having to buy a battery again.
